The Micro-Mini Pin & Ligature Cutter is the slimmest instrument in the HARFINS Pin & Ligature Cutter line, purpose-built for situations where even the Mini version’s profile is too wide to maneuver comfortably. Its ultra-slim head is designed for the most difficult-to-access areas of the mouth — deep posterior sites, tightly crowded teeth, or cases where visibility and clearance are both at a premium.
Despite its narrow profile, the cutting capacity matches the Mini variant at up to 0.012″ (0.30mm), so there’s no compromise on what the instrument can actually cut — soft wire pins and ligature ties are trimmed cleanly, without the crushing or fraying that an underpowered cutter can cause on fine wire.
At 12.5cm, the instrument maintains a familiar, stable grip despite its narrow head, letting clinicians work with confidence even in tight quarters where a wider instrument would obstruct the view or bump against adjacent teeth.
