M23 Posterior Sickle Scaler DE
The most important feature of M23 Scaler is that, it has a tip versus a toe it’s used on the posterior teeth and it has a longer shank which allows you to better reach clear back to the distal of those most posterior areas. It’s used for removing debris from crown surfaces of teeth. Since it’s made with a tip it allows you to more comfortably clean areas of tight interproximal tissues. You have to work the calculus off with a standard four to seven strokes from outer calculus surface until you reach the tooth surface.
