4R/4L Columbia Universal Curette, DE
Columbia 4R/4L Curette is the universal curette made for scaling posterior teeth. The correct working end can be found my making the shank parallel to the long axis of the tooth. If the terminal shank is oriented cross the tooth, then it is an incorrect end for scaling.
4R/4L Columbia University Curette features a toe and rounded back, a deep shank angle and a longer shank than the similar Barnhart Curette. This is makes it easier to access areas of clinical attachments, light to heavy several gingival deposits. To remove the deposit, gave the curette 70° to 80° angle, and remove the deposit by using a lightly activated exploratory stroke. Shave the deposit from the top to surface until it’s removed. Use multidirectional strokes to remove all the deposits.
